Last updated 28 October 2026 · Yrki is in beta
Yrki finds jobs that fit you, tailors your résumé, fills in application forms and, with your go-ahead, sends them. To do that it has to hold your résumé and the details job forms ask for. This page says what Yrki keeps, why, who else handles it, how long it stays, and how you control it. Questions: privacy@yrki.work.
What Yrki keeps
- Your account: your email address, and your name if you sign in with Google.
- Your résumé and profile: the file you upload and what Yrki reads from it or you add: contact details, work history, education (including class 10 and 12 results if you add them), skills, current and expected pay, notice period, where you can work. Demographic questions on forms are answered “decline to say” unless you choose otherwise.
- Your answers: answers you give to application questions, kept so the same question isn't asked twice.
- Your applications: the jobs you apply to, the tailored résumé and cover letter for each, the answers filled in, pictures of the employer's form taken while Yrki works, and where each application stands.
- Mail to your Yrki address: employers write to the address Yrki gives you (…@inbox.yrki.work). Yrki stores those emails so it can read security codes and file replies under the right application, and forwards replies about your applications to your own email unless you turn that off.
- Only if you turn them on: a connected mailbox (Yrki reads only mail about your applications and stores nothing else from it), a password for employer sites, a WhatsApp number for alerts, and the browser extension. Passwords are stored encrypted.
- Running the service: feedback you send (and a screenshot, if you attach one), and technical logs (errors, AI usage and cost). Error reports say what broke and where, never what you typed or uploaded.
What Yrki does with it
- Ranks jobs for you, tailors your résumé and writes cover letters for the jobs you choose.
- Fills in and sends applications: after your go-ahead on each one, or by itself only if you choose “Send them for me” or set up an auto-apply rule. Sending an application gives that employer the details on it; that is the point of applying.
- Reads employer replies and codes sent to your Yrki address, and tells you about them.
- Yrki does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use your data to train AI models.
Who else handles it
Yrki uses these services to run. Each handles your data only to provide its part.
| Service | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Amazon Web Services | The server that runs Yrki and fills in forms, the database, sign-in and file storage (your résumé) | India (Mumbai) |
| Supabase | Yrki's home before 25 October 2026: a copy kept as a way back until early November, then deleted | India (Mumbai) |
| Anthropic | AI that reads résumés, tailors them, drafts cover letters and answers, and answers Ask Yrki | United States |
| Cloudflare | Yrki's domain names, and receiving mail for Yrki addresses | Global network |
| Resend | Sending Yrki's emails (sign-in links, alerts, forwarded replies) | Outside India |
| Sign-in with Google (your name and email only) | Global | |
| PostHog, Sentry | Product analytics and error reports, if switched on; text is masked | EU |
Anthropic may keep what it processes for up to 30 days to prevent misuse, and does not train on it. Payments, when they start, will go through a payment provider that will be named here; Yrki will not see your card details.
How long it stays
As long as you have an account. When you delete your account (Settings › Account), Yrki waits 30 days so a mistake can be undone, then removes your résumé files, profile, applications, saved answers and mail. Cost records are kept without anything that identifies you.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see the data Yrki holds about you, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, and raise a grievance. Most of this you can do yourself: edit your profile, export your applications (Applications › Export), forget saved answers, or delete your account. For anything else, or a complaint, write to privacy@yrki.work; we reply within 7 days. If you're not satisfied you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Traffic to Yrki is encrypted, passwords you give Yrki are encrypted at rest, and access to the systems is limited to the people who run Yrki.
Age
Yrki is for people 18 and over.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that matters, Yrki will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. See also the terms of use.
